Budapest, November 3, 2017 – Today, MOL Group announced its financial results for Q3 2017. With HUF 150 billion (USD 576 million) delivered in the quarter, clean CCS EBITDA for the first nine months of the year is 12% up from last year and stands at HUF 520.8 billion (USD 1.87 billion). As CAPEX spending stood at USD 605 million after nine months, the company has continued to generate strong cash-flows across all business segments.

The more than 30 years old “FAKUMA” is the second largest internationally renowned exhibition of the plastics and rubber industry today. The prestigious event that takes place every fall in Friedrichshafen (Southern Germany) attracted over 1,700 exhibitors this year

The European Commission approved the state aid of EUR 131 million related to MOL Group’s investment in Tiszaújváros after finding that the aid - in accordance with the EU guidelines -, promotes the development of the region without distorting fair competition in the single market.

At the K show in Düsseldorf, Czech machinery producer GDK spol. s.r.o. and MOL GROUP are collaborating with specialty chemicals supplier Milliken & Company to demonstrate the possibilities of extrusion blow molding a stylish, clear sports drink bottle using the MOL GROUP’s polypropylene clarified with Milliken’s Millad NX 8000.
