Aromatic products including benzene, toluene, ortoxylene and xylene feature similar attributes. They are colourless, highly flammable and toxic liquids each with a characteristic odour. Aromatic products are applied across different industries mainly as solvents or feedstock in production of numerous goods, which, in fact, are widely used in our everyday lives. MOL Group’s aromatic products can be used as chemical feedstock, intermedier or ingredients. The usability of aromatics is wide from polymer production through applying as a degreasing agent to use as solvents for paints. Why to choose MOL Group’s aromatic products? MOL Group has a favourable production site allocation for aromatic products, producing them both in Danube Refinery, Százhalombatta, Hungary and in Bratislava Refinery, Slovakia. We apply high safety standards during the production process, as well as during transportation and provide you with cost-efficient and environmentally friendly products. From Xylene and Toluene, MOL Group provides “crude oil” quality – minimum 99,7 % purity – in 2 refineries. Aromatic products of MOL Group Benzene Benzene is an important organic chemical compound, which is a natural constituent of crude oil and is one of the elementary petrochemicals. It is colourless and highly flammable liquid with a sweet smell, and is responsible for the aroma around petrol stations. Benzene is an essential chemical feedstock in the production of diverse intermediate products, e.g. polymer plastics, synthetic fibers, detergents and solvents. Toluene Toluene is a colourless, water-insoluble liquid with the smell associated with paint thinners. Toluene is used as an industrial feedstock. It is consumed in the manufacture of toluene diisocyanate used as a raw material for the polyurethane foams’ production. Toluene also serves as an octane improver in gasoline as well as a solvent for paints, paint thinners, silicone sealants, glues and many other organic compounds. Xylene Xylene is a major petrochemical produced by catalytic reforming and also by coal carbonisation in the manufacture of coke fuel. Xylenes are mainly produced as part of the BTX aromatics (benzene, toluene and xylenes) extracted from the product of catalytic reforming known as "reformate". The mixture is a slightly greasy, colorless liquid commonly encountered as a solvent. In case of slower drying is required toluene is often substituted by xylene solvent. Xylene acts as a degreasing agent and is applied in rubber, adhesives and leather industries, in the production of pesticides, as an intermediate in the manufacture of certain polymers, in petroleum distillation, and in histology laboratories. Ortoxylene Ortoxylene is the second largest commercial isomer of xylene. Ortoxylene is a key-ingredient for producing phthalic anhydride (PAN). PAN is strongly connected to housing market because it’s an important ingredient of PVC and thus. Also used as alkyd resins in solvent-based paints. Aliphatics

The elements of the aliphatic products make MOL Group’s Special Gasoline segment. For wider usage, MOL Group provides three types of aliphatic solvents with different boiling points: Dunasol, normal-hexane and white spirit. MOL Group’s aliphatics can be used in several ways, like cleaning oil surfaces to extract various vegetable oils. Why to choose MOL Group’s aliphatic products? Aliphatic products of MOL Group Dunasol Dunasol is a solvent of low aromatics and sulphur contents. MOL Group offers three Dunasol types with increasing boiling points from 80°C - 220°C, enabling coverage of various industrial needs. In MOL Group’s portfolio there are three types of Dunasol products with different boiling points: Dunasol 80/110, 150/200, and 180/220. Our producst are used in lacquers, paints and waxy ointments productions as well as for cleaning oily surfaces. Normal-hexane Normal-hexane is the C6 fraction containing minimum 55% of n-hexane, as well as iso- and cycloparaffins. It is used primarily as a solvent of chemical reactions such as polymerisation of olefins catalysed by coordination complex compounds, as a pharmaceutical solvent, in the extraction of various vegetable oils, or in various adhesive compositions. White spirit White Spirit 150/200 is a non-corrosive solvent with a mild hydrocarbon odour and a narrow boiling range of 150-200°C containing paraffin, naphthenic and aromatics. This aliphatic product is widely used as coatings and cleaning agents in the paint, ink, dry cleaning and rubber industries. MOL Group produces 150ktpa Group I Base oils in its Hungarian refinery. Our high complexity Group I production chain and wide variety of feedstocks enable us to produce the highest quality straight cut Base oil products. MOL Group’s existing product portfolio consists of more than 20 grades, solvent neutral (SN) grades with Kinematic viscosity at 40°C from 7 to 240mm2/s and Brightstock. If you cannot find your product in our existing product portfolio, do not worry, we can tailor-made our products dedicated to your needs, or even develop a new product with dedicated feedstock and production settings. Nr.; Goods name; Consignee (name, destination); Place of border crossing. The trucks are loaded based on their given time loading slot. Drivers must wear protective clothing (a boot, a long, abrasion-resistant suit/trousers, and a helmet) without these equipment the truck/tanker will not be allowed into the territory of the refinery. Mode of filling: upside. Road tank-car with flexi-bag or with trailer cannot be loaded, because our loading site is technically not prepared for these alternatives. Road tankers and ISO containers on road, RTC and ISO-container on railway (max 13m axle length) are allowed The parameters of road tank-cars should be: Height: 2.900-4.100 mm; Wide: max 3.000 mm; maximum 3 compartments. Wide range of both Paraffin waxes and Microcrystalline waxes are available in MOL Group’s product portfolio, in compliance with most of the market standards and regulations from candle making to food industry. Our wax products are available in Liquid, Slabs and Pastilles forms. MOL Group is also an ideal service provider of small producers due to the one pallet minimum order limit. MACRO PARAFFIN WAXES Macro Paraffin Waxes are mainly used in candle industry and in different industrial applications. Product names reflects to the melting point of the given product. E.g. FR DWC 5456 - Fully refined Candle grade Paraffin wax with melting point between 54 and 56°C. Macro Paraffin Waxes are available in Liquid, Slab and Pastille form. MICRO WAXES Micro Waxes are used in food applications, packing and other special applications. Product names reflects to the congealing point of the given product. E.g.
