Based on MOL Group’s 2030+ Strategy, our business is on track to be transformed into a more efficient, sustainable, chemicals-focused leading industry player in the next decade and, by 2050, will be a net zero emitter. As part of these ambitions, we are reshaping our value chain by expanding it to include specialties, allowing us to become a full-solution provider and exploit the opportunities arising from the surge in demand not just for polymers, but also in compounds, mainly in the automotive, home appliances, electronics and furniture industries in Central and Eastern Europe as well as Western Europe.
The compound product portfolio of MOL Group includes homopolymer and copolymer-based PP compound grades with fillers including glass fibers and mineral fillers.
PRIMOLEN is a registered trademark for 100% virgin PP-based compounds based on MOL Group’s high-quality polypropylene resins produced at our two petrochemical sites in Tiszaújváros (Hungary) and in Bratislava (Slovakia).
Applications:
Currently our portfolio is mainly aimed at automotive applications, however, developments are ongoing for home appliance, electronics and furniture segments as well.
REMOLEN is a registered trademark for recycled PP-based compounds using MOL Group’s high-quality polypropylene resins in different ratios (50-70%) besides grinded polypropylene waste (30-50%).
As there is an increased urgency towards our OEMs and Tier-1 customers and partners to reduce their overall CO2 impact, we are helping to reach their sustainability goals without any compromise in quality or performance. Our strategic partnership with Swiss trading Group Meraxis also strengthens this pillar by providing us with high-quality recycled plastics feedstock.
MOL Group’s PP compound material solutions help facilitate the light-weighting trend in the automotive industry and, combined with post-industrial or post-consumer recycled plastics, our products can be an ideal choice for sustainable and efficient substitution of conventional materials.
Applications:
Currently our portfolio is mainly aimed at automotive applications, however, developments are ongoing for home appliance, electronics and furniture segments as well.
