TIPELIN 5700S – THE NEW HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE FIBRE GRADE

MOL Petrochemicals Co. Ltd. is pleased to introduce TIPELIN 5700S, a newly developed bimodal HDPE grade for fibre extrusion. The grade is produced with the Ziegler-Natta catalyst system and butene-1 comonomer, with narrow molecular weight distribution and medium molecular mass. Thanks to the optimal molecular structure and excellent additivation, TIPELIN 5700S offers a great alternative for all HDPE fibre producers for making webs, bale nets and sacks.

ADVANTAGES:

  • The TIPELIN 5700S offers higher physical and mechanical properties compared to traditional unimodal fibre grades, due to its bimodal molecular weight distribution.
  • It is easy to process using conventional extruders, thanks to additivation as well as being heat resistant.

MAIN PROPERTIES:

  • Excellent physical and mechanical properties
  • Well-additivated
  • Good flow, easy to process

OFFERED FOR:

  • Agricultural products (bale nets, sacks etc.)
  • Building nets, protective nets
  • General purpose films, split film yarn and tapes TIPELIN 5700S
  • can be used in conventional extrusion machines.
  • Recommended processing temperatures: 180-230 °C.

Typical properties, not to be used as specification.
* The thickness of the film: 0.025 mm for the mechanical measurement (MD/TD: MD = machine direction, TD = trans direction)
** The thickness of the film: 0.015 mm for the mechanical measurement (MD/TD: MD = machine direction, TD = trans direction)
*** Average mechanical property values of several measurements carried out on standard pressed specimens (ISO 293) conditioned at room temperature (ISO 291).
